The problem
Client care and engagement letters are high volume and have to meet SRA requirements, yet each one is written from a blank page or copied and hand edited from an old matter. It is slow, inconsistent, and a compliance risk when a required term is missed.
What we are building
Daniel is a drafting assistant, a Chambers module in development. Firms upload their own client care and engagement precedents, and Daniel produces a first draft in the firm's house style from the matter details, keeping the firm's own clauses. The fee earner reviews and edits every draft before it leaves the app, and each draft is written to an append only audit log. It runs on the same multi tenant, per firm isolated foundation as CIL and Grace, and works only from the firm's own materials, so there is no external template library to defend.
The value it will unlock
Fee earners will get a compliant first draft in the firm's own voice in seconds instead of starting from a blank page, with a human always reviewing and signing off. This is on the Chambers roadmap and being built with founding firms.
